Catie Myers-Wood is a 24-year-old graduate of the University of Georgia who has recently relocated from Athens, Georgia to New York City. She graduated cum laude with degrees in journalism and comparative literature in December 2004. Catie is currently seeking employment in a creative field. She has held several jobs since moving to New York, but her most recent long term-employment was as the assistant manager of Bel-Jean Copy/Print, where she used her computer and organizational skills to complete complex projects on a strict deadline basis. She gained additional experience in graphic design as an intern at Hill Street Press. In 2002, Catie established Oddity Records, a licensed, independent record label based out of Athens. As the owner and founder, she implemented promotional campaigns for five bands, as well as creating advertising materials and booking shows in the Athens, Winder and Atlanta areas. Catie is also a freelance photographer and is the resident photographer for jazz dance company Dancefx, Inc. She has also worked with Broadway Dance center and her photographs have appeared in Dance Spirit Magazine, Dance Teacher Magazine, and Dance Magazine.
